My journey into the digital world cannot be complete without mentioning Olubunmi Fajuyigbe. In 2011, I had to move to another city to start my married life with my husband and then I realized my business was at a standstill. I could not communicate with most of my clients. I didn’t have a physical office and communication was very limited. Fortunately for us, we relocated back to Ibadan and I was desperate about getting back to business. I met with Olubunmi and explained my challenges to her. She told me about Vconnect and I got my business listed immediately. She took it upon herself to groom me in digital skills and also in networking. I learnt so much from her – networking etiquette, website design, graphics design, to mention a few. I have also facilitated a few of the training at She Learns Here I am so grateful for the impact this has had in my life and business so far. In the event industry, I am now an authority when it comes to tech support and digital solutions. During the pandemic in 2020, I diversified into virtual/hybrid events because my digital skills opened a lot of opportunities to solve event planning/management problems for my clients. Recently, I launched a virtual Tech Hub where creative people can monetize their skills. Thank you Olubunmi Fajuyigbe for being a great teacher.
